The Chairman of the Russian PSB Bank, Petr Fradkov, presented the Russian-Indian payment system to President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The presentation took place at the international exhibition "Innoprom" in New Delhi. This was reported by the press service of A7.
The event was held at the booth of A7 company (established by PSB Bank in 2024). The payment system is designed for processing payments in national currencies through local partner banks.
Fradkov stated that India is one of Russia's key partners. The economic ties between the two countries continue to strengthen, and trade volume is growing. Additionally, there are almost 200,000 Indian citizens in Russia, including migrant workers and students.
Such a scale of interaction requires appropriate financial infrastructure — modern, accessible, and predictable.
A7 provides cross-border payments for Russian business circles. As of August 2026, it is used by more than 15,000 participants in foreign economic activity. Settlements in the A7 system can be made with more than 100 countries.
