India and Russia are negotiating to simplify payments for all categories of travelers. This was announced by the Indian Ambassador to Russia, Vinay Kumar.
The Indo-Russian working group on banking and finance, consisting of representatives of the relevant ministries and central authorities of both countries, is actively discussing the technical aspects of messaging systems and payment mechanisms to simplify financial transactions for all categories of travelers.
In addition to cash payments, Russian tourists will be able to use banking services offered by VTB and Sber in India.
Several banks have branches in India and are currently simplifying transactions for various travelers, including students and tourists from Russia.
