Rostec unveiled the "ZHNETS" anti-drone system, designed for a situation where anti-drone measures become obsolete faster than they can be replaced.

Instead of tying it to specific UAV models, the developers created a system with an open architecture that can be reconfigured by updating software and connecting new detection and suppression tools.

Rostec identifies the speed of drone evolution as the main problem in modern object protection. The complex allows combining existing equipment at an enterprise with new modules into a single system, so a change in threat should not automatically mean replacing all equipment. According to the developers, "ZHNETS" can adapt to new types of UAVs through software reconfiguration.

The system includes radio frequency and radar detection tools, several suppression tools, including "SERP-VS13D", and "Vector-HUB" software. Four modules provide a 360° azimuth and 80° elevation view, and the complex can suppress control channels for commercial and FPV devices and navigation signals.

"ZHNETS" is designed for round-the-clock operation at temperatures from -40 to +50 °C and is primarily intended for fuel and energy complex enterprises and other critical infrastructure facilities.
