Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant "Kupol" has developed two designs for attack drones, one of which is a modified jet "Geran-4", and the second replicates the layout of the Iranian Shahed-101.

The designers of the aircraft with a turbojet engine focused not on developing a new airframe, but on changing the layout of the power plant. As part of the project, the air intake and engine components were modernized on the product.

The second development by the specialists looks even less independent: according to published data, it replicates the Iranian Shahed-101, and the differences are limited to the wing attachment and individual structural details. The Shahed-101 itself belongs to a more compact class of attack UAVs.

IEMZ "Kupol" already produces "Garpia-A1" attack drones. Production of this model at the enterprise began in July 2023, and the machine itself uses engines and components of Chinese origin.
