The Su-57E demonstrated maneuvers with super-maneuverability at the El Alamein International Airshow in Egypt. Sergey Bogdan, chief pilot of the Sukhoi Design Bureau and Hero of Russia, spoke about the fighter's capabilities and the specifics of the demonstration flight.

Thanks to our innovative control system, excellent engines integrated into the control system, we demonstrate such characteristic maneuvers, specifically for Sukhoi aircraft, with super-maneuverability.
Among the most characteristic elements for the aircraft, Bogdan highlighted maneuvers with super-maneuverability – modes that are particularly interesting to potential customers and pilots.
However, the fighter's capabilities are not limited to demonstration aerobatics. Bogdan noted that the aircraft is capable of performing such maneuvers with weapons in its internal weapon bays.
At the Egyptian airshow, the Su-57E was also presented with missiles that had not been shown at other exhibitions before.
Separately, the chief pilot spoke about the aircraft's flight to Egypt. After an intermediate landing, the Su-57E had enough fuel, which, according to Bogdan's assessment, would have been sufficient for another approximately 1000 km of flight. External drop tanks were not used: the aircraft's design provides for the placement of internal fuel tanks within the weapon bays, which expands the aircraft's capabilities during ferry flights.
