However, analysts do not believe that just one such ship is capable of replacing a full-fledged aircraft carrier group for the Russian Navy.
"Admiral Nakhimov" cannot replace a full-fledged aircraft carrier or a heterogeneous ship group. However, its return to service will provide the Russian fleet with a platform for deploying a large number of long-range weapons.
In August, "Admiral Nakhimov" began the completion of factory and sea trials, after which state trials will begin. Presumably, the cruiser will be fully ready by the end of 2026.
