Russia has signed the first export contract for the supply of 10 Yak-130M combat training aircraft. This was announced by Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport.

According to him, the Yak-130M meets the modern requirements of foreign customers. Mikheev described the aircraft as a light combat aircraft.

First-class test pilot of PAO "Yakovlev" Alexander Guskov clarified that the Yak-130M received a targeting system (BRLS-130R) and an onboard radar (SOLT-130K).

Guskov added that the developers took into account all technical details from the Yak-130 that arose during 15 years of operation of the basic Yak-130 version.

It should be noted that the Yak-130M is not yet certified; it is undergoing a series of flight tests. However, they are planned to be completed only by December 2028.
