The Pantsir family of anti-aircraft missile and gun systems has destroyed tens of thousands of aerial targets during its operation. This was announced by Alexander Mikheev, CEO of Rosoboronexport, who specifically noted the system's use against foreign missiles.

The Pantsir family of anti-aircraft systems already has tens of thousands of destroyed aerial targets on its combat record, including Storm Shadow cruise missiles, ATACMS ballistic missiles, and various classes of UAVs.

According to Mikheev, the total number also includes unmanned aerial vehicles of various classes. The exact number of destroyed targets is not disclosed, so the estimate of "tens of thousands" does not allow determining the proportion of missiles, UAVs, and other aerial attack means in this figure.

This refers not to a single modification, but to the Pantsir family. The system combines radar detection capabilities with missile and artillery armament and is designed to protect objects from a wide range of aerial threats. The modern Pantsir-S1M, for example, can hit targets at a range of up to 20 km and an altitude of up to 15 km with missile armament.

The appearance of Storm Shadow and ATACMS in the stated list shows that among the targets hit are not only drones, but also more complex high-precision foreign-made weapons.
