The Russian Aerospace Forces are actively using the new S8000 "BanderoL" cruise subsonic missile. The first detailed images of the new munition on the wing-pylon of the Mi-28N "Night Hunter" helicopter have appeared online, with photos published by the Telegram channel "Voennaya Khronika".

It can be seen that the "BanderoL" is suspended on a beam holder – a special rectangular adapter with electronics that attaches to the pylon.

The missile itself is fixed to the holder with special T-shaped grooves and is also connected via a breakaway cable – its red element is visible at the bottom of the holder.

Military expert Alexander Stepanov noted that all combat aircraft of the Aerospace Forces, including Su-34, Su-35S, and even Su-24, can be carriers of the S8000. The "BanderoL" accelerates to 600 km/h, which is 2 times less than the speed of sound.
