The Ufa enterprise ODK-UMPO, which produces engines for Su-57 fighters, sharply improved its financial performance in the first half of 2026. At the same time, the enterprise's revenue did not grow, but decreased.

From January to June, UMPO's revenue decreased by 3.2% and amounted to 55.1 billion rubles. However, the cost of production decreased significantly more – by 10.3%, to 43.7 billion rubles.

The enterprise's gross profit grew by 39.3% and reached 11.42 billion rubles. Operating profit increased by 3.6 times – to 4.51 billion rubles.

At the same time, the plant reduced commercial expenses by 19.6%, to 3.45 billion rubles, and administrative expenses by 11.7%, to 2.14 billion rubles.

The main problem for the financial result remained expenses related to financing. Net financial expenses amounted to 6.4 billion rubles, although they decreased by 5.8%.

As a result, the enterprise ended the half-year with a net loss of 1.77 billion rubles. However, compared to the same period last year, it decreased by 5.7 times.
