The AGR holding has launched the production of the new mid-size Tenet Plus L6 crossover in Kaluga. The cars are manufactured using a full cycle – the body is welded, painted, and assembled at the plant, which previously produced Volkswagen and Skoda.

For Russian conditions, the body is additionally protected from corrosion. Hidden cavities are treated with wax, and additional anti-corrosion, anti-gravel, and soundproofing coatings are applied, the company said.

An extended winter package has been specially prepared. It includes remote engine start and heating for the front and rear seats, steering wheel, windshield, and windshield washer nozzles.

Under the hood of the Tenet Plus L6 is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 147 hp and 225 Nm of torque. The engine is designed for AI-92 gasoline and works with a six-speed dual-clutch "robot" transmission. The drive is front-wheel.

The length of the Tenet Plus L6 is 4554 mm, width is 1852 mm, and height is 1681 mm. The wheelbase is 2700 mm, and the ground clearance is 187 mm. The model is based on the PMA modular platform.

The crossover's interior features a digital instrument panel with an 8.8-inch screen and a media system with a 13.2-inch display. Depending on the trim level, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 50W wireless charging, a panoramic roof, and a Sony audio system with eight speakers are available.

The equipment includes seven airbags. Higher trim levels add a 540° surround view system, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane keeping assist. The cost of the Tenet Plus L6 and the start dates for sales have not yet been announced.
