Russian attack drones "Lancet" began to be wrapped in foil. The footage went viral on social media, as noted by the Telegram channel "Osvedomitel".

The purpose of the modernization is unknown. It can be assumed that "Lancet" operators are experimenting with coatings that reduce the drone's visibility in certain scenarios.

Recall that the "Lancet" reconnaissance and strike complex includes X-wing attack drones and the Z-16 reconnaissance drone.

Depending on the modification, the "Lancet" is capable of staying in the air for up to 40 minutes. The average range of "Lancets" is usually limited to 90 km, but in early September, it became known about a drone flight of 200 km.

Zala also built a new disposable catapult for "Lancets", sharply reducing the launch preparation time.
