Lancet drones received a new catapult with launch in seconds

The drone is launched into the sky by a special pyrotechnic cartridge

The preparation time for Lancet kamikaze drones has significantly decreased with the introduction of a new disposable catapult. This was reported by a UAV platoon commander with the call sign Kot.

According to him, the new launcher has simplified drone transportation and accelerated crew deployment.

The disposable launcher makes our lives easier. It's practical, easy to use, and convenient to transport.

Inside the catapult is a pyrotechnic cartridge that instantly accelerates the drone right after launch. This allows crews to launch drones directly from under tree canopies.

It should be noted that the average range of Lancets is usually limited to 90 km, but in early March it became known about a drone flight of 136 km.

The military noted that Lancet is not afraid of electronic warfare systems, and the manufacturer regularly sends new software.
