"Rosatom Renewable Energy" will establish a production facility in the Amur Region for large-unit assembly of wind turbine components (WTG). The new plant will assemble nacelles and hubs for wind turbines of a new 4.5 MW technological platform. The equipment is intended for the Uspenovskaya and Platovskaya wind farms under construction in the Far East, as well as for other projects of the state corporation in the region.

The plant's production capacity will be approximately 72 sets per year. Commissioning is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027. The enterprise will be built using rapidly erected structures, which will allow it to immediately reach its design capacity. The plant will create 60 new jobs.

The Amur Region already has experience in wind energy development. In 2024, Atomenergopromsbyt completed the assembly of the first three wind turbines at a plant in Belogorsk. Earlier, Governor Vasily Orlov reported to President Vladimir Putin on plans for industry development and the implementation of wind farm projects in the region. As reported, at least 258 MW of wind generation is planned to be launched in Priamurye. It is possible that after expansion, the production facilities will be able to supply components not only to the Far East but also to other regions of the country.
