Rosatom to Build New Uspenovskaya WPP Wind Farm with a Capacity of up to 400 MW in the Amur Region

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the EEF

JSC Rosatom Renewable Energy has signed an agreement with the government of the Amur Region and the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV) for the construction of the Uspenovskaya WPP wind farm with a capacity of up to 400 MW. The agreement was signed within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2025).

The signed document will support the project in obtaining the status of a resident of the Amurskaya territory. This will provide the project with access to benefits and infrastructure of the region. The construction of the wind farm is aimed at developing renewable energy in the Far East.

In August 2025, VetroSPK JSC, part of Rosatom, won a tender for the construction of two wind farms in the Amur Region with a capacity of 89.84 MW and 140 MW, with commissioning in 2027 and 2028, respectively. A project is also planned in the Khabarovsk Territory with a capacity of 139.86 MW, with commissioning in 2028.

JSC Rosatom Renewable Energy, established in 2017, manages Rosatom's wind energy assets. To date, the company has commissioned wind farms with a total capacity of 1 GW, and the project portfolio in Russia reaches 1.7 GW.
