Kazakhstan could become the first CIS buyer of Russia's newest multi-role Su-57 fighter jets. This was reported by Military Watch Magazine (MWM).

According to the publication, the republic expects to receive the combat aircraft within two years.

Currently, Kazakhstan's air fleet includes up to 40 Su-30SM fighter jets, about 20 modernized Su-27s, up to 12 MiG-29s, and approximately 14 Su-25s. Compared to these, the Su-57 represents a several-fold leap in combat capabilities.

It should be noted that Russia has not yet officially announced the delivery of Su-57s abroad. Nevertheless, videos of fighter jets flying over Algeria regularly appear online.

In November 2025, Vadim Badeha, head of the United Aircraft Corporation, stated that two Su-57E aircraft had already been delivered to a foreign customer, but did not disclose who it was.
