The production of tank ammunition at Rostec enterprises has increased 50-fold since 2022. The output of artillery ammunition increased 20-fold, and combat aircraft doubled. Representatives of the state corporation announced this at the "Technoprom-2026" forum in Novosibirsk.

The stated figures reflect the scale of the restructuring of Rostec's production capacities to meet a significantly increased volume of orders. However, the state corporation did not disclose the absolute production volumes and the specific number of ammunition produced.

Earlier, Rostec reported on the expansion of capacities at enterprises producing ammunition and the transition of a number of productions to round-the-clock operation.

In 2024, Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the conventional arms, ammunition, and special chemicals cluster, said that the corporation's enterprises increased the production of self-propelled artillery 10-fold, towed artillery 14-fold, mortars 20-fold, and MLRS twofold compared to 2022.

New data shows that growth continues primarily in the ammunition segment: tank rounds, in particular, showed the largest increase in production – 50-fold.
