Rostec has increased the production of weapons for the Russian army. This was announced at a meeting in the Federation Council by the head of the state corporation, Sergei Chemezov.
Compared to 2022, in 2023, the production of ammunition increased by tens of times, artillery rounds by more than six times, tank rounds by more than 30 times, close combat weapons by 14 times, and rockets for MLRS and TOS by more than six times.
Close contacts with the military, regular feedback from the front lines – all this helps us to improve the combat qualities and protection of equipment, to create new demanded products. Many products have been created or significantly improved taking into account combat experience.
He also reminded that 80% of the weapons and military equipment used on the front lines are produced at Rostec enterprises.
