Silovye Mashiny plans to ship two turbines for nuclear power plants to customers annually starting from 2029. The company has already signed contracts for three power units in 2026 and continues to expand its order portfolio for nuclear equipment.

The plan for supply rates was announced by Anton Viktorov, Deputy General Director of Silovye Mashiny and Head of the Nuclear Power Division. According to him, in 2026, the company also concluded several agreements for the maintenance of turbine and generator equipment and is discussing contracts for three more power units.

The increase in production is associated with the expansion of manufacturing capabilities. Earlier, Alexey Podkolzin, General Director of Silovye Mashiny, reported that the company expects to increase capacity after additional investments. Over five years, about 75 billion rubles are planned to be allocated for production development. These investments should, in particular, double the output of equipment for NPPs.

Currently, Silovye Mashiny produces various types of turbines for nuclear, thermal, and hydropower. The total capacity of contracted equipment is 18.5 GW. The portfolio includes 64 machines for Russian energy companies and another 13 machines for foreign customers.

One of the company's most notable projects in nuclear engineering was the 1255 MW low-speed steam turbine. Silovye Mashiny manufactured the first Russian sample of this type in 2021 at the Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod. Tests confirmed the operability of the design and the accuracy of the alignment of its flow path.
