A person who falls into a supermassive black hole will be able to see the movements of stars and galaxies, which would normally take millions of years, Sergey Pilipenko, a senior researcher at the FIAN Astro Space Center, told RIA Novosti.

For a supermassive black hole, tidal forces at the event horizon are less than for a stellar-mass black hole, so a spacecraft can cross the horizon without being destroyed. With the engines off, weightlessness will be maintained on board, and the crew will not feel changes in gravity. The picture observed from the outside will be greatly distorted, shifted away from the center, and the light of the stars will acquire a blue shift.

The center of the black hole itself will not be visible: between the ship and the center there is another horizon from which light cannot escape. With further fall, tidal forces will tear the ship apart. Time on board will accelerate so much that the inhabitants will see the evolution of the Universe at an accelerated pace.
