The "Digital Shipbuilding Production" (TSIS TSP) platform has been implemented at the Krasnoye Sormovo plant (Nizhny Novgorod) to control the production cycle in online mode. This is the first shipbuilding enterprise in the country where large-scale digital transformation has begun, "Pervy Tekhnichesky" was informed by the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK).
Minister of Industry Anton Alikhanov and OSK General Director Andrey Puchkov, during their visit to the plant, checked how new technological solutions are being implemented. Currently, Krasnoye Sormovo is working on the interaction between the TSIS TSP and "Shipbuilding CAD" (computer-aided design system) platforms, establishing end-to-end planning and reporting.
TSIS TSP provides managers with an objective picture of order fulfillment and gives them tools for timely management decisions.

The platform's digital tools also help foremen record shift-daily assignments. These are detailed work plans for employees and production volumes for specific equipment.
OSK General Director Andrey Puchkov stated that a unified information model is a way to increase the plant's operational efficiency. Digitalization will reduce the number of design errors and shorten production downtime. These solutions can be replicated not only within the shipbuilding industry but also in related sectors of the economy, the top manager concluded.
The OSK press service reminded that digitalization at the Krasnoye Sormovo plant will help transition to large-block flow construction. It is planned that the enterprise will become a base platform for creating "river-sea" class vessels based on the unified "Platform No. 1".
