Before September 1, scammers are more actively using the theme of school shopping. They create fake websites for children's clothing stores, stationery, and electronics, luring buyers with large discounts, according to the Moshelovka platform of the People's Front.

Advertisements for alleged "closed liquidations of warehouse remnants" are also spreading on social networks. Users are offered to go to a website, select goods, and pay for the order, but the purchase turns out to be fictitious.

After payment, the money goes to scammers, and bank card details may fall into the hands of criminals. The main sign of such a scheme is an abnormally low price and an attempt to create a sense of urgency.

For online purchases, experts also advise using a separate virtual card with a limited limit and not clicking on suspicious advertising links.
