A new interceptor drone, "Veter PRO," designed to protect airspace, has been developed in the Far East. The novelty has already been tested by the military.

The "Veter" design bureau clarified that the interceptor can be controlled remotely through a separate control center at a significant distance from its area of application.

However, the exact characteristics of flight speed, interception range, and onboard equipment composition are not yet disclosed.

It should be noted that there have been no remote-controlled interceptors in Russia yet. Previously, after detecting a drone, soldiers would launch a drone into the sky from a special launcher, as in the case of "Yolka".

A few days ago, a compact UAV interceptor was developed in St. Petersburg that fits into a waist holster. The creators claimed its ability to return to the starting point, although it operates on the principle of ramming.
