The Samara-based enterprise ODK-Kuznetsov, which produces NK-32 engines for Tu-160 strategic missile carriers, has involved schoolchildren in engineering training. Together with the educational center "Yuzhny Gorod", the plant launched a career guidance project "Time of Motors".

Schoolchildren will carry out engineering projects under the guidance of enterprise specialists and students of the "Wings of Rostec" target track, participate in competitions, and master equipment.

Laboratories for aircraft modeling and drones, as well as machines with laser and milling CNC processing, are already operating at the educational center.

Now, students will get acquainted with domestic software for engineering design, 3D modeling, additive technologies, and artificial intelligence. Three-month courses on machine operation are separately planned.

In March, it became known that the plant is building a new facility with an area of more than 6.6 thousand m² for 1 billion rubles.
