BelAZ continues its large-scale robotization of welding production. To date, 34 robotic complexes, comprising 51 robots, have been integrated into the technological process, the company reported. Of these, 49 are welding robots, performing over 40% of all welded seams.

In the coming years, the company plans to double this figure. As BelAZ General Director Sergey Lesin recently reported, the company places great emphasis on automating complex welding processes.

Robotic complexes operate with high precision, eliminating the human factor, and allow processing parts for dump trucks with a carrying capacity from 40 to 360 tons. In one section, a robot welds the 152nd frame crossmember for 130-ton machines in less than three hours – significantly faster than manual labor.

Automation helps accelerate parts production, reduce costs, and improve product quality. This year, BelAZ is investing over 300 million rubles in modernization, acquiring modern equipment and robotic lines.
