BelAZ plans the serial production of new mining dump trucks with capacities of 90, 180, and 290 tons, as well as entry into the segment of articulated vehicles with a payload capacity of 41 tons, the company said.
The past year became a time of record technological transformation for BelAZ. Investments in fixed capital reached 203.3 million Belarusian rubles, almost twice as much as a year earlier. The plant acquired 64 units of precision equipment, including CNC machining centers and automated welding robots, which significantly increased production flexibility.
One of the main objectives of modernization is the import substitution of critically important units. BelAZ now independently produces complex components, including planetary hydromechanical transmissions. The new technologies have also made it possible to shorten the path from development to the assembly line.
