The "Superjet" with factory number 95011 made its last "flight" in an unusual way – the last more than 200 km of the journey the aircraft covered by water. The fuselage was delivered from Zhukovsky along the Moskva River, the Moscow Canal, and the Volga to Kimry, Tver Oblast.

There, the former airliner is to become part of a private house on the river bank. Formally, it will be a private house, not a hotel.

This status allows bypassing significantly stricter requirements for commercial accommodation facilities.

For Kimry, this is not the first aircraft with an unusual fate. At the entrance to the city stands a Tu-124, which was delivered from Zhukovsky back in 1984. At that time, they wanted to open a video salon or a cafe in it, but the project did not materialize due to stricter fire safety requirements.

The aircraft with registration RA-89003 made its first flight on September 11, 2011. In November of the same year, it began transporting passengers as part of "Aeroflot". However, its career was short-lived: in the autumn of 2013, the aircraft was decommissioned and transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
