The "Molniya-2" aircraft FPV drone was tested as a carrier for other drones, with engineers from the "BARS-Sarmat" Special Purpose Center demonstrating three placement options for FPV devices.

In the first configuration, two FPV copter-type drones are attached under the wings of the "Molniya-2". In the second variant, a high-speed FPV drone designed for intercepting aerial targets is placed under the fuselage. The third scheme involves installing one FPV copter directly on the body of the aircraft drone.

The idea is to use "Molniya-2" as an aerial carrier: the aircraft delivers additional drones to a specified area, after which they can continue their flight independently. This scheme allows for the separation of tasks between the carrier and the FPV drone and increases the distance from which the copter can begin its mission.

BARS-Sarmat engineers continue to test different applications for "Molniya-2". Previously, a similar concept was demonstrated by operators from the "Rubikon" center, who used the aircraft drone as a mother drone.
