The national messenger Max announced the opening of its API for creating alternative client applications and the launch of a developer support program. IT companies from Russia and friendly countries that meet security requirements and have experience with large projects will be admitted to participate.

Participants will get access to technical documentation, the design system, and the source code of the official client. Mandatory conditions include adherence to secure development standards, implementation of encryption mechanisms, passing a code audit, and confirmation of technological expertise. Applications can be submitted on the website dev.max.ru.

Since its launch, the application has been installed by over 120 million people, and its daily audience exceeds 85 million users. Opening the platform to external developers transforms Max from a closed service into a full-fledged ecosystem capable of competing with Telegram through custom solutions for businesses and users.
