The first Russian container carrier based on the KAMAZ-65958 chassis with an 8x8 wheel arrangement was created by the company "SpetsKarGo". The vehicle was developed on the basis of the heavy K5 family chassis for transporting 8.5-meter containers.

The truck with four drive axles and dual tires is designed for operation in conditions requiring high cross-country capability and significant carrying capacity.

The length of the container carrier is 11,800 mm, and the maximum weight of the transported cargo reaches 27 tons. The platform is designed for installing an 8.5-meter container.

The cost of the vehicle is 22.8 million rubles. The first unit has already found an owner, which confirms the interest in specialized equipment on domestic heavy chassis.

The new container carrier expands the capabilities of the KamAZ K5 line, which was previously mainly used for construction, quarry, and special equipment. The 8x8 version allows the truck to be used in conditions where conventional road container carriers are limited in terms of cross-country capability.
