Production of construction equipment will be expanded at the site of the former Caterpillar plant in the Leningrad Region. Serial production of TL 878 backhoe loaders began in 2026 under license from Chinese Lovol. According to the Lonmadi/Quintmadi group, the enterprise has already received an order for 220 such machines.

The next stage will be the development of tracked excavators weighing from 20 to 30 tons, followed by Lovol front-end loaders with a lifting capacity of 2–3 tons. TL 878 equipment is produced in equal-wheel and unequal-wheel versions. The machines are equipped with a 74 kW Weichai engine, a hydromechanical gearbox, and a "6-in-1" bucket. The maximum digging depth reaches 5.59 meters.

The plant in Tosno was one of the first major foreign investors in Russia. The American concern Caterpillar opened it in 2000 and produced hydraulic excavators, mining dump trucks, and components there. In 2022, after the introduction of sanctions, the company suspended operations. The enterprise was abandoned, all employees were laid off, and the plant itself was left with huge debts to the budget. Subsequently, the assets were sold to a Russian investor, and the site was repurposed.
