Developers from the Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union N. G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy presented a scheme for an underwater vehicle capable of delivering cargo to a specified area, detaching it underwater, and continuing its movement to the next point. Documentation for the novelty has already been approved in the FIPS database.
An unusual solution is also provided for the movement of the apparatus itself. At low speed, a lifting surface (wing) extends from the hull, creating lift.
In the folded position, it does not increase the dimensions of the apparatus, and during movement, it can move along the hull following changes in the center of mass.
After cargo detachment, the apparatus retains the ability for autonomous movement. The onboard control system receives data from the carrier non-contactually, plots the route, and manages buoyancy and trim.
There are currently no direct full analogues in the world that combine all these design features simultaneously.
