The Avitek enterprise, part of the Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation, is located in Kirov. Since the late 1950s, the enterprise has been developing surface-to-air guided missiles.

Today, its main product range includes 9M334 anti-aircraft missile modules with 9M331 missiles for Tor-M1 and Tor-M2E SAM systems, as well as 5V27A target missiles and 9F841M aerial target simulators for creating target environments.

In the aviation sector, the plant produces K-36DM Series 2 and K-36D-3.5 ejection seats. These seats are installed on Su-57 and Su-34 fighters. In addition, the enterprise is involved in the development of 5th generation seats.

The plant also produces lifting systems (GK-3000, BL-56M, SLG-300, SLG-150), electric winches, manual winches, wing and helicopter holders for suspending and dropping cargo, as well as small-sized diesel engines and seats for railway machinery operators. In the near future, the development of new types of missile technology and the latest generation of ejection seats is planned.
