A Vietnamese delegation expressed interest in the modular version of the Tor-M2KM anti-aircraft missile system. This was stated by the Deputy General Director of the Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defense Corporation.
According to him, the parties have already held a series of negotiations. Their results have not yet been disclosed.
It should be noted that serial production of the Tor-M2KM began only in 2026; this is a new model. The missile system can be installed not only on warships, but also on vessels with a displacement of 500 tons or more, noted Dmitry Zakhar, Assistant General Director of IEMZ Kupol.
Military analysts explained that the Tor-M2KM is a new modification of the Tor-M2 in a modular design, which differs by the absence of a chassis.
The new system is capable of hitting targets at a range of up to 15 km and simultaneously engaging four targets.
