The authorities of the Kherson region will purchase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for the operation of critical equipment during power surges. This was stated by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

This is necessary so that when a constant power supply of not the required quality is provided, these surges do not disable the equipment and allow it to work stably.
Vladimir Saldo, Governor of the Kherson region

According to Saldo, UPS will help save on fuel purchases for diesel generators. The Ministry of Fuel and Energy Complex of the Kherson region has been instructed to calculate the need for uninterruptible power supplies across all industries.

Power system failures often occur in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Emergency crews try to promptly eliminate problems and provide all facilities with electricity.

In Russia, about 30 companies produce uninterruptible power supplies of various capacities. Manufacturers offer a wide range of UPS, for example, the Bryansk Industrial Automation Plant produces several lines of such devices. The leader in the number of UPS models in the register of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade is the company "Sayber Elektro".
