The Brox company has commissioned a new plant for industrial steam boilers in Furmanov, Ivanovo Region. Boilers are used in energy, construction, oil and gas, woodworking, food, and other industries. The production is intended to replace the products of European manufacturers who left the Russian market after 2022.
Total investments in the project exceeded 1.6 billion rubles. Of these, 718 million rubles in the form of a preferential loan were provided by the federal Industrial Development Fund under the "Development Projects" program. With these funds, the company purchased 61 units of equipment, including metal cutting and bending machines, welding and pressing complexes.
After reaching full capacity, the plant will be able to produce up to 68 boilers per year with a capacity of 1.9 thousand to 5.6 thousand kW. The production is equipped with a multi-stage quality control system, including X-ray and ultrasonic diagnostics.
The company also intends to replace some imported components – heat exchanger, gas valve, fan, and sensors – with Russian analogues. According to Grigory Gatilov, CEO of Brox, the new products are characterized by lower fuel consumption compared to analogues.
