A major Russian manufacturer and supplier of agricultural machinery, spare parts and equipment, "Koblik Group", has abandoned the sale of its plant in Orenburg, which previously belonged to the American concern John Deere. The company intends to restart production at its own site in early 2027.

Earlier, the company removed the announcement for the sale of the enterprise from the "Avito" service. In the spring of 2026, "Koblik Orenburg" was put up for sale for 3.5 billion rubles, then the price was reduced to 3 billion rubles. Currently, the announcement is unavailable.

As explained by "Koblik Group", previously both the option of selling the Orenburg plant and the possibility of localizing the production of products not directly related to agricultural machinery were considered. Ultimately, it was decided to restart the site independently. There is no specific information yet about future products. The equipment of the former American plant included plasma and laser cutting lines, guillotine shears, press brakes, machining tools, and an assembly shop. The enterprise also has two buildings, an administrative building, and railway tracks.

The history of the plant began in 2005, when John Deere opened an agricultural machinery production facility in Orenburg. In 2019, the company moved its plant from Domodedovo here, investing about 1.2 billion rubles in preparing the site, but after the introduction of sanctions in 2022, the American manufacturer ceased operations and removed some of the equipment. By June 2024, the plant officially transferred to the Russian holding "Koblik Group".
