AGR (formerly Volkswagen's division in Russia) has launched the production of original windshields for popular models — Volkswagen Polo, Tiguan, and Skoda Rapid. Previously, these parts were supplied from abroad. Now, they are manufactured in Russia with the AGR marking.

AGR produces original spare parts for Volkswagen, Skoda, and Audi: most of them bear the markings of the respective brands. The production of certain items, including windshields, has been localized in Russia. Products with the AGR marking fully comply with quality and safety requirements, according to the company. Dealers have already confirmed that the new marking meets the requirements of car manufacturers for warranty service.

Earlier, it was reported that a joint Russian-Chinese production of automotive engines worth 900 billion rubles was launched at the former Volkswagen plant. The project was implemented by AGR holding and the Chinese company Defetoo. The enterprise will supply engines for all car models produced at the partners' joint plants in Russia.
