The Russian manufacturer AvtoVAZ plans to sell 15,000 light commercial vehicles (LCV) and increase its share to 15% in this market segment by 2026, the automaker's press service reported.
The share of Lada light commercial vehicle registrations has been growing since 2023. Last year, this figure reached 13.2%.
In the “compact” LCV niche, Lada has captured almost the entire market. From January to May, 35,000 vehicles in this segment were sold (96% of the total).
In May 2026, sales of the cargo and passenger versions of the SKM M7 from AvtoVAZ began. Sales of the SKM M9 will start in the second half of the year.
We are working on every detail — from the loyalty program to telematics, which makes the operation of Lada and SKM more efficient and economical.
The automaker is also developing its dealer network. Currently, Lada Business centers are available in 88 cities of Russia, Kostromin added. All this will contribute to the popularization of the brand and an increase in sales, the top manager concluded.
Earlier, AvtoVAZ CEO Maxim Sokolov was seen driving a business version of the SKM M9.
