Samara State Medical University has launched serial production of Health Check-Up automatic blood pressure monitors with the function of remote transmission of medical data. The devices are designed for remote monitoring of patients' conditions and integration with telemedicine systems.

The project was implemented with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Production is organized at SamSMU, and the digital infrastructure for data transmission operates on the IoMT.Istok internet platform, developed by NPP "Istok" named after Shokin of the "Rosel" holding of the Rostec State Corporation.
The new device performs standard functions of measuring blood pressure and pulse rate, but additionally can detect signs of arrhythmia and irregular heartbeat. The obtained data is automatically transmitted to medical information systems via wireless Bluetooth or GSM channels.
SamSMU's production facilities allow for the annual production of over 100,000 such devices. The blood pressure monitors can be used in remote patient monitoring systems, including for controlling chronic diseases and observing people outside medical institutions.
