The State Corporation Rostec supplied 102 thousand units of medical equipment for neonatology, cardiology, dentistry, ophthalmology, and intensive care over the past year. Another 90 million units of consumables – vacuum tubes for blood tests and laboratory containers – were delivered to clinics.
Among the new products is the mobile "MedUza" device, which removes tumors with focused high-intensity ultrasound without incisions or damage to healthy tissues. The device has already been tested at the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnologies of the FMBA.
The OneCell oncological scanner detects cancer from biomaterial in 2-3 minutes, is registered and operates in three leading oncology centers – Blokhin, Herzen, and the St. Petersburg Oncology Center. Production with a capacity of up to 200 devices per year is being established in Kaluga.
Separately, Rostec met the demand for an adult vaccine against whooping cough, diphtheria, and tetanus, which was previously purchased abroad. Today, the state corporation is capable of producing up to 5 million doses annually.
Equipment and consumables cover the entire chain – from intensive care to laboratory diagnostics, and the registration of OneCell and the launch of production in Kaluga mean that the oncological scanner ceases to be a unique item and goes into mass production.
