KMZ will perform a major overhaul of the DG-4000 diesel generator, which is used to power important technological facilities of Gazprom's gas complex. The contract for equipment restoration has already been concluded, and after the completion of the work, the unit should return to its standard characteristics and receive an additional operating life.

The DG-4000 diesel generator belongs to powerful energy equipment capable of providing autonomous power to industrial installations. Its stable operation is necessary for the uninterrupted functioning of facilities involved in processing up to 12 billion cubic meters of gas per year.

As part of the project, KMZ specialists will carry out comprehensive technical maintenance of the unit: they will perform diagnostics, disassembly, restoration of main components, checking cooling systems, control systems, and other components operating under high loads.

After repair, the equipment will undergo tests that must confirm compliance with factory parameters and readiness for further operation in continuous production mode.

KMZ previously performed work on the repair and maintenance of industrial power equipment for enterprises of the fuel and energy complex. The new contract will maintain the reliability of one of the key elements of gas production power supply and ensure its further operation.
