Russia and Argentina have completely ceased cooperation in the field of peaceful atom. This was announced by the Russian Ambassador to the Republic, Dmitry Feoktistov.

According to him, the financial benefits provided within the framework of Argentina's large investment incentive regime could have been a significant support for energy cooperation.

We note the mutual interest of Russian and Argentine companies in cooperation in such areas as electric power, renewable energy sources, and the oil and gas industry.

Russia plans to supply equipment for hydroelectric power plants and wind farms to Argentina. Deliveries are scheduled for 2027, but specific models of units have not yet been named.

Earlier, Kazakhstan revised the construction of a new unit at the Ekibastuz GRES-2 and rejected Russian turbines and generators in favor of the Chinese supplier Harbin Electric International.
