The Russian special aircraft Tu-214PU made an unusual flight on July 13. The airliner flew from Vnukovo to Tehran, according to the flight tracking service Flightradar.

The elite aircraft is specifically designed to provide flights and coordinate the actions of the top leadership of the Russian Federation. The aircraft is equipped with data relay nodes and secure strategic communication systems.

Recall that the aircraft is equipped with PS-90A engines with an increased range of up to 10.5 thousand km. Airborne command posts are built at the Kazan Aircraft Plant.
