The "Navitel Navigator" application now features a dedicated "Motorcycle" mode. It alters route-building algorithms to account for the specifics of two-wheeled vehicle movement – both in urban and rural areas.
One of the main changes concerns speed camera warnings. In motorcycle mode, the application does not display complexes that detect violations "from the front," as these cameras only recognize the front license plate, which motorcycles do not have.
However, warnings for cameras that monitor traffic "from the rear" are retained.
The updated mode also uses traffic congestion data but processes it differently than when building a route for a car. This allows for consideration of motorcycle movement specifics within the general traffic flow and adjusts the suggested path accordingly.
