The Irkutsk Oblast is considering the introduction of electronic queues at gas stations. The new system is being developed by the authorities together with the regional IT community amidst the fuel crisis. This was announced by Irkutsk Oblast Governor Igor Kobzev.
Several developers are already testing their proposals. If the solution is implemented, drivers will not have to wait in a regular queue at gas stations – they will be able to book in advance, choose a time, and arrive at the gas station at the appointed time.
When this measure is implemented, I will provide additional information.
In parallel, the region continues to expand fuel sales for individuals. Two independent operators have increased the number of operating gas stations. The "Kraysneft" network has resumed operations at four more gas stations.
The "BRK" network has switched seven gas stations to 24/7 operation. Another seven stations operate under a combined scheme: in the morning, they serve individuals, and after the established quota is met, they switch to dispensing diesel fuel and working with legal entities.
In addition, the "OMNI" network has resumed operations at five more gas stations in Irkutsk and Angarsk.
