The carbon dioxide fire extinguishing system "Som" manufactured by Runitor company has been included in the register of Russian industrial products. The equipment is intended for installation on a cargo-passenger vessel of project PV27, which is being built in Samara.

The "Som" system is designed to extinguish fires on surface ships and vessels. It can be used to combat fires in engine rooms, boiler rooms, pump rooms, emergency diesel generator rooms, holds, and other compartments.
