"Yandex" has allowed "Alisa AI" to be set as the default assistant on Android smartphones. Now it can be summoned in the usual system way – over open applications, by gesture, or by holding a button at the bottom of the screen.
You can configure "Alisa AI" through its application or smartphone settings. After that, the neural network will be available not only within a separate chat, but at any time while using the device.
The assistant can respond with text and voice, search for information on the internet, translate text, analyze photos, and create images. In other words, "Alisa AI" is intended to become a permanent tool on the smartphone, rather than a service that needs to be opened manually each time.
On Android, the default assistant role is usually taken by Google Gemini, which replaced "Google Assistant," but it is not supported in Russia. Now users will be able to choose the Yandex development instead.
