Russia's gasoline reserves remain practically at last year's level and allow for stable provision of the domestic fuel market. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the operation of the fuel and energy complex.
According to him, according to data from the Ministry of Energy, current gasoline reserves are only 4% less than for the same period last year.
Currently, gasoline reserves amount to 1.7 million tons, which practically corresponds to the level for the same period last year.
The President noted that part of the accumulated reserves had already been directed to the domestic market, but even after that, the total volume of reserves almost did not change. This indicates the stable operation of the fuel industry, but reserves must be used prudently and carefully, he concluded.
