Engineers from the Scientific and Production Association (NPO) "Polet" have created a double net launcher against drones called "Duplet". The developers plan to start its mass production. This was announced by an official representative of the association.
The newest double net launcher was developed so that a soldier has not one last chance to survive in a confrontation with a drone, but two. Two shots significantly increase the chances.
According to him, the enemy uses two drones at once to ensure the target is hit. If the first drone eliminated the object, the second one flies "for free hunting," the specialist emphasized. At this moment, it can be intercepted and neutralized.
Features of the "Duplet" net launcher:
- Battery charge indicator
- Cartridge status indicator
- Quick-release mount
- Reload in 5-10 seconds.
The first batch of double net launchers will be sent to Russian Armed Forces servicemen in July, concluded the representative of NPO "Polet".
